It has been slightly more than four weeks since Samsung introduced its Galaxy S26 lineup. As a long-time observer and user of their devices, this release struck me as rather predictable—not disappointing, but lacking any real thrill. Admittedly, the Galaxy S26 Ultra does offer some enhancements. Its privacy screen has generated buzz and appears advanced, the battery capacity has been modestly increased, and the revamped camera layout is aesthetically more pleasing. However, apart from these tweaks, little else feels innovative. On the other hand, my Galaxy S24 Ultra, now two years old, continues to perform excellently. It meets all my requirements without any noticeable shortcomings. Truthfully, several factors make me hesitant to switch at this point.
